Four steps. Two minutes at home, thirty seconds when you land.

Scan your QR code

Choose Use QR Code and point the camera at the code in your RedSim email. Confirm, and the eSIM appears in your SIM list with the plan name and no phone number. That is normal, it is a data line.

Rename it to RedSim Travel so it is easy to find later.

Turn the line on

SettingsCellularRedSim TravelTurn OnKeep the line off until you arrive. Your plan starts counting on first connection at your destination, not at purchase. Turning it on at the airport is exactly right.

Roaming on, eSIM as your data line

On the RedSim line, switch Data Roaming ON. Then open Cellular Data and pick the RedSim line, not your home SIM. These two switches cause almost every no internet case.

Roaming here is safe. Your plan is prepaid, there are no extra charges.

That is it. You are online.

Signal bars usually appear within 30 seconds. Nothing yet? Toggle Airplane Mode once, then see the fixes below.

Do not delete your eSIM

A deleted eSIM cannot be reinstalled with the same QR code. After your trip, or if something seems broken, turn the line OFF in settings instead of deleting it. Already deleted it? Contact support and we will sort it out.

Troubleshooting

The eSIM installed but there is no internet
Almost always a switch: turn Data Roaming ON for the RedSim line, and set it as your active mobile data line (not your home SIM). Then toggle Airplane Mode once.
My QR code will not scan again
A QR code installs exactly once. If the eSIM is already on your phone, that is expected. Do not reinstall. Fix the connection in settings instead.
Speeds are slow
Make sure 5G or LTE is allowed for the eSIM line, then try selecting the network manually in cellular settings. Toggling Airplane Mode after you move location also helps.
Android asks for an APN
A few countries need the APN set by hand. Copy the exact value shown with your eSIM in the RedSim app, then add it under Settings, Mobile Networks, Access Point Names.
