eSIM prices compared, plan by plan

RedSim next to other travel eSIM providers for the same data and the same days. Public list prices, read from each provider's own website and dated, so you can check every number yourself.

Yesim $19.20RedSim $10.62

United Kingdom, 10 GB, 30 days: 45% less, then up to 25% back

Same plan, same days

Each row matches the same amount of data and the same number of days. If a provider has no such plan, the cell stays empty; we never swap in a different plan.

Public prices, dated

Rival prices are the list prices on their own websites in US dollars, with no discount codes. Each carries the date we read it and a link to the page.

Where we lose, we say so

A row where another provider is cheaper stays in the table, without our check mark. Right now that is 3 of the 30 plans below.

Our prices are live. Theirs are the public list prices on each provider's own website, in US dollars and without discount codes, read on September 23, 2026 and re-read every week. Prices change, and the provider's own site is always the final word. Savings are against the highest price in the row.

Price per GB

What a gigabyte costs: United Kingdom

Price divided by data, on the 30-day plans in the table. The shorter the bar, the less you pay for each GB. A bigger plan costs less per GB at every provider here, so between two sizes the larger one is often the better value.

Yesim$2.30

RedSim$1.06
Yesim$1.92

How to read this comparison

Pick your destination above. Each row is one plan: the data, the days, and what each provider charges for exactly that. The red column is RedSim. A green check means RedSim is the lowest in that row, and a rival price in green means that provider is lower. “You save” is measured against the highest price in the row.

Unlimited is not the same everywhere

Unlimited plans come with a daily fair-use limit, and it differs. On the RedSim plans compared here: 3 to 5 GB a day at full speed, by plan, then 1 Mbps. Yesim: Speed may be limited under the network's fair-use policy. Compare the limit as well as the price if you stream a lot.

Why the prices differ

Travel eSIMs are bought wholesale from network partners and resold. RedSim compares several partners for each plan, sells the best one and keeps its margin small. That is why the gap is often widest on everyday plans like 5 or 10 GB for a month.

One app for one country

If your trip is only to the UK, Japan or Europe, our country apps show just those plans, at the same prices as this page. UK eSIM covers the UK, Japan eSIM brings Japan-wide 5G internet, and Europe eSIM is one eSIM for all of Europe.

Method

How we check the prices

The same four steps every week, for every provider we compare. Nothing is typed in by hand.

  1. 1ReadEvery week we read each provider's public price page, in US dollars, as any visitor sees it.
  2. 2MatchEach plan is matched to ours by data and days. Call bundles, subscriptions and first-order deals are left out.
  3. 3ConvertIn another currency, rival prices are converted at the same rate our own prices use, so the columns agree.
  4. 4Publish, or removeThe date of each read is shown. A price not refreshed for 30 days is removed instead of shown stale.

Buying guide

Six things to check besides the price

A cheap plan is only a good deal if it works for your trip. Before you buy from any provider, including us, look at these six points on the plan page.

  • NetworksWhich local networks the plan uses, and whether it gets 5G or 4G where you are going.
  • Fair-use limitOn unlimited plans, how much data a day runs at full speed, and the speed after that.
  • When the days startAt purchase, at install or at first connection. At first connection is the most flexible.
  • Activation windowHow long after buying you can still start the plan, if your trip moves.
  • Refund termsWhether an unused eSIM is refunded, for how long, and to your card or to a credit.
  • Top-ups and supportWhether you can add data to the same eSIM, and how quickly a real person answers.

No data cap for the plan days, with a daily fair-use limit after which speed is reduced.
