Is my phone eSIM compatible?
Most phones released since 2018 support eSIM. The quickest check works on any phone:
The 10 second check
Dial *#06# on your phone. If an EID number appears in the list, your phone supports eSIM.
iPhone
iPhone XS, XR and everything newer. You can also check Settings → General → About, an EID line means eSIM support.
Android
Samsung Galaxy S20 and newer, Z Flip and Fold, Google Pixel 3 and newer, plus most recent models from other brands.
Two things to watch
Your phone must be carrier unlocked, a phone locked to one operator cannot add other SIMs. And some models sold in certain regions ship without eSIM even when the global version has it, the *#06# check settles it.
