When does my plan start?
Your plan starts on the first connection to a supported network at your destination, not when you buy it and not when you install it.
That means you can buy today and install at home this week, and the eSIM simply waits. The validity countdown (for example 15 days) begins the moment your phone attaches to the local network after landing.
Tip
Keep the eSIM line turned OFF until you land. That way it cannot accidentally connect earlier, for example during a layover in a covered country.
